About Us
5T Lawn & Landscaping, LLC (formerly 5T’s Lawn Care) was born in 2016 on a countryside road west of Ceresco, Nebraska. That’s when I, Scott Tvrdy, teamed up with my sister Rosalie to mow lawns for two neighbors. The name “5T” comes from our family—five Tvrdy kids raised by our proud parents, Mark and Wendy Tvrdy.

Our original goal was simple and teenage: earn enough money to buy iPod Touches, since our parents weren’t going to buy them for us. Within just two months, we hit that target and kept going. Word spread quickly through the neighborhood, and soon we were mowing for more families, expanding into nearby small towns like Valparaiso, Davey, and Raymond.

In 2018, Rosalie decided to step away from mowing to pursue her passion for a healthcare career. I carried the business forward, and in 2020—while still navigating high school—I expanded into chemical applications, fertilizer programs, and my first landscaping projects. That same year, larger commercial clients came on board, marking a big step in growth. To keep pace with demand, I invested in two new Exmark mowers as a high school senior, a clear sign of how far the business had come from those first two yards.

By 2022, thanks to valuable agriculture connections, we added land management services—handling pasture cleanups, tree pulling, and intensive property restorations.

Today, 5T Lawn & Landscaping, LLC remains a family-rooted, Nebraska-grown company committed to delivering reliable, high-quality lawn care, landscaping, and land management.
From weekly mowing and seasonal cleanups to full-yard transformations and large-acreage clearings, we treat every property with the same care and pride we started with back in 2016.
